BushTV Communications Agency Packages for Indigenous Organisations
BushTV Agency Partnerships provide organisations with a dedicated allocation of BushTV’s time each month, rather than a fixed package of deliverables.
That time can be used wherever it creates the greatest value for your organisation. This might include strategic storytelling, feature stories, video production and editing, website development, annual reports, newsletters, social media, graphic design, executive communications, media releases, campaigns, photography, advocacy, communications planning or other agreed priorities.
Every organisation is different, and priorities change. One month might focus on a major feature story and video, while another might involve an annual report, website development, a campaign or executive communications. BushTV works with your leadership team to determine how the available time is best used.
The partnership is therefore based on capacity rather than outputs. Examples are provided as a guide to what can typically be achieved, but individual deliverables are not fixed or guaranteed. Work is prioritised collaboratively within the allocated monthly time.
Travel, accommodation and other agreed out-of-pocket production expenses are additional and are not included in the monthly partnership fee.

Examples of Deliverables
Depending on your organisation’s priorities, your monthly BushTV capacity can be used across a wide range of communications and storytelling activities, including:
- Feature stories and case studies
- Documentary and short-form video production
- Video editing and post-production
- Community Consultations and report writing
- Photography
- Website content, development and updates
- Annual reports and impact reports
- Internal and external newsletters

- Communications support for major projects, events and initiatives
These are examples only. Deliverables are not fixed and are determined collaboratively according to your organisation’s priorities and the BushTV capacity available each month.
Choosing the Right Tier
Choosing the right partnership level is really about how much BushTV capacity your organisation needs.
Level 1 provides approximately 40 hours per month and works well for organisations seeking regular professional storytelling and communications support while maintaining much of their day-to-day communications internally.
Level 2 provides approximately 60 hours per month allowing BushTV to become a more embedded communications partner and work across a broader range of storytelling, digital, design, advocacy and communications priorities.
Level 3 provides approximately 90 hours per month creating a deeply embedded strategic partnership with substantial capacity for storytelling, video production, campaigns, executive communications, media, advocacy and major organisational projects.
The important difference between the tiers is not a predetermined list of deliverables. It is the amount of BushTV time your organisation has available each month. That time can be directed towards whatever communications priorities create the greatest value, and can change as your organisation’s needs change.
As the tiers progress, the available capacity increases and BushTV can become increasingly embedded in your organisation, its people, priorities and long-term strategic direction.
If you’re unsure which level is right, we can discuss your current communications capacity, priorities and ambitions in a discovery call.

LEVEL 1
Storytelling & Communications Partner
$6,000 per month
Approximately 40 hours of BushTV capacity per month
Level 1 is particularly suited to organisations that have people internally who can gather photographs, information, meeting notes and other material, while BushTV provides the professional storytelling, production and communications expertise.
A typical month might involve a feature story, a short video, an internal newsletter and an external newsletter built around the feature story. Alternatively, the available time can be directed towards other communications priorities as they arise.
BushTV can also provide guidance and training to staff so that organisations become better equipped to gather photographs, footage, interviews and stories themselves.
Level 1 provides a consistent storytelling and communications presence without the cost of employing an internal communications professional.

LEVEL 2
Embedded Communications Partner
$9,000 per month
Approximately 60 hours of BushTV capacity per month
With greater capacity, BushTV can work across multiple communications priorities at the same time. This might include storytelling and video alongside website development, newsletters, social media, campaigns, design, executive communications, advocacy or stakeholder communications.
Rather than working to a predetermined list of outputs, BushTV works alongside your leadership team to identify what matters most each month and directs the available capacity accordingly.
Level 2 is suited to organisations wanting an experienced communications and storytelling partner actively involved in both planning and delivery.

LEVEL 3
Strategic Communications Partner
$12,000 per month
Approximately 90 hours of BushTV capacity per month
Level 3 represents a deeply embedded strategic partnership.
BushTV works alongside the CEO, leadership team and organisation to help shape storytelling, advocacy, communications and public positioning while also providing substantial hands-on production capacity.
A storytelling-focused month might, for example, involve two substantial feature stories and two short videos. In another month, that same capacity might be directed towards a major campaign, website development, an annual report, documentary production, executive communications, media engagement or a combination of priorities.
The important distinction is that the organisation is reserving a substantial amount of BushTV capacity rather than purchasing a predetermined collection of products.
This allows BushTV to respond to what is actually happening within the organisation and direct its time towards the stories, opportunities and communications priorities that matter most.

How the partnership works
At the beginning of each month, BushTV and the organisation agree on the immediate priorities and how the available capacity will be used.
Priorities can change as new opportunities or issues emerge. The monthly allocation provides the flexibility to respond without having to quote separately for every story, video, newsletter, website update or piece of communications work.
Additional work beyond the agreed monthly allocation can be discussed and approved separately.
Travel, accommodation, airfares, vehicle hire and other agreed out-of-pocket production expenses are not included in the monthly partnership fee and are charged separately where required.
Note: Travel and accommodation for on Country storytelling, filming, or community engagement are not included in the BushTV partnership tiers and will be costed separately if required.
